Why does not synchronization work now? Everything worked fine before
Maybe at the moment there are some connection problems or Your balance is insufficient for Internet accessing and paying for the service. Why during synchronization does inscription appear “synchronization is interrupted”? A few variants are possible: There are some connection problems. Failure of Your phone's software (try to update weavering). Failures in "communiction" between Your phone and GSMSync server. Check the page "synchronization status". My telephone supports different types of synchronization, how do they work? Basic types of synchronizations which service of GSMSync can work with: Slow Sync is slow synchronization. A telephone sends all information to the server which in its turn processes it and in the case of necessity returns back to the telephone new and modified information. When used: first synchronization, on demand of telephone settings. Two-Way Sync is bilateral synchronization (normal/standard mode of synchronization) A telephone and server are exchanging only with new and modified information. When used: settings of telephone by default. One-Way Sync from Server only is Update from a server A telephone will get all modified information from a server, however a telephone, in its turn, will not send all modifications. When used: at the proper settings of telephone. When you are sure that information on a server is more actual than information in a telephone. One-Way Sync from Client is only Update from a telephone A server will get all modified information from a telephone, however a server will not send all modifications. When used: at the proper settings of telephone. When you are sure that information in a telephone is more actual than information on a server and a server is used only as a back-up copy. Why contacts on my Sim-card are not synchronized? Most telephones provide synchronization of contacts, kept only in memory of telephone. Study user’s manual of Your telephone, where it is indicated how to carry contacts from a Sim-card to memory of telephone. What volume of information is passed during synchronization? On the average transfer of 100 contacts takes about 50kb. During further synchronizations the exchange is made only with updated and added contacts. |
